It sure is a catch 22..If you don't use Internet Explorer as your default browser, and you do not have the current supported version (e.g. IE11) if a day comes you need to open and use Internet Explorer, big surprise! The elements of computer change! I'd say that for the 20% still using IE8, they more than likely are not aware of IE11..any pop-ups they ignore because they like IE8, know their way around the browser and so why change! Then the remaining 80% might be split, those who have auto update and just go with the update flow, and those who intentionally update to stay "safe" with their Internet browser having the safest features! There's those darn "new" browser holes that irritate many, thus the desire to wait until bugs are worked out before upgrading. Well then..as I'm using Mozilla Firefox, it's time I take a peep at my Internet Explorer to see what version I have! Thanks for the heads up QM7!

I like Internet Explorer and was using (IE11) on my Win 8.1 (x64) machine but found that another program I use extensively Phase Express does not work with IE 11. So now I'm using Maxthon.
