1. Inappropriate language images or links. If you think a word or image might not be acceptable, its probably not, don't use it. Pornographic images will not be tolerated. Any member posting pornography, will be banned. Members may post (or have in their profiles) links to their personal web sites1. Links to other forums1 may be posted ONLY when helpful to the resolution of a problem or topic. The Forum Staff reserves the right to monitor and remove any language, images or links they feel are inappropriate.
2. Trolling, Spamming, Flaming and Bashing are not allowed. Posts that are threatening, defamatory, gender based, gender biased, vulgar, sexually explicit, obscene, derogatory or racially, ethnically, sexuality, religiously intolerant or any other personally discriminatory posts will be removed from the board. Penalties for violating this policy range from a warning to being permanently banned from the forum. Any personal attack, threat, baiting, or insult directed toward a member or guest of The Forum will result in the poster being banned from the forum.
3. Bans are solely at The Forum Staff's discretion and may not be appealed. The Forum administration has the right, to request any member alter or delete any of their posts. If this is not done in a timely manner, the Staff will alter or delete the post.
4. Use common sense when selecting a user name, avatar and signature. If you think its inappropriate, others will too! Please refer to Avatars + Signature Policies and Limitations, when creating your avatars or signatures. Signatures with links to commercial products, soley for the benefit of the poster, will be removed. Signatures with links to products or utilities helpful to the home computer user are allowed, as long as the member has no vested interest in the product or utility.
5. Commercial posting: Posting links to commercial web sites, other forums, products and/or services are appropriate ONLY when part of a resolution or helpful for the topic thread. Any links placed solely to advertise or promote web sites, forums, products and/or services for the benefit of the poster are inappropriate and will be removed. If it is determined that a member has joined the forum solely for the purpose of posting SPAM, all posts/threads by that member will be removed and that member will be banned.
6. The Forum does not guarantee the accuracy of information in forum posts. Under no circumstances will The Forum be held responsible or liable for the content.
7. The Forum respects all intellectual copyrights. To that end, if it doesn't belong to you and wasn't created by you, don't post it in the forum. This includes pirated software, links to pirated software, music or other types of multimedia files, key generators, hacks, cracks, passwords or password generators. Posts will be removed that violate any intellectual property copyright. If it is determined that the infringement is deliberate, the poster will be banned from the forum. Bans are solely at The Forum Staff's discretion, are permanent and may not be appealed.
8. The Forum does not discriminate based on age, race, ethnicity, physical disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, color, creed or any other condition. The Got Windows® ?... Forum reserves the right to edit or remove any post for discriminatory comments or any other reason(s).
9. Buying and selling of any hardware or software items between members is allowed but only when done in private, not in our public forums. The Got Windows® ?... Forum website exists for the use, education and enjoyment of its members. Any attempt to disrupt the normal flow of operations via flooding or user account abuse will be considered a Denial Of Service attack and reported to the posters Internet Service Provider (ISP).
