Curious, has anyone ever been advised to "uninstall" the current Adobe Flash player before installing the new version?

I've never seen anything indicating Flash Player should be uninstalled before installing a new version. Certainly not from Adobe. However, if you want a "clean" install of Adobe Flash Player ... Adobe offers this: forums.adobe.com/thread/928315

Thank you for the direction Wingman! :thumbleft: Don't know why, however I have been having a struggle with Shockwave Player and errors (please don't ask what they are, as I have not written them down! ) I went ahead and removed the existing version of Flash, shut down and rebooted the computer. Installed the latest version however I did not activate Adobe Flash. Of late I have elected to activate it on demand. Perhaps a bit odd, however everything Internet/Web based sure works better?

Remember, Shockwave Player and Flash Player are 2 different programs. I have seen people with browser problems because Shockwave was enabled. Once it was disabled their browser worked fine.
