Do you know why everything I post has strange characters at the end? Windows XP/SP3, Pale Moon 24.5.0 <script type="text/javascript">function print(m) {}</script>

Webb, I believe you had the same issue at the other ProBoard forum as well. Is it browser specific?
BTW: I moved your post from the Welcome thread to the more appropriate Feed Back forum.

It seems to do this only with Pale Moon on Proboards.
It does it at YLStang's boards too.

It didn't happen in you last post... Any difference in how or what hardware your posting with between the two posts?

It doesn't happen when I do a Quick Reply without any edits.

It happens when I use the full editor. <script type="text/javascript">function print(m) {}</script>

Could be an incompatibility issue between Pale Moon and certain features on ProBoards forums?

I was poking around looking for any clues. It appears that Pale Moon is a version of Firefox which I use here without any problems? Webb, have you by chance looked at your Pale Moon add-ons or extensions, or your Options/Advanced settings for anything about scripts? Is Pro-boards an HTML or clear text set-up? If that is the correct question.

I had this discussion on one of Stang's boards.
I've tried disabling a couple of extensions without success.
I'm not going to change my browser to accommodate ProBoards.

Frustrating, no doubt! For an experiment, would you be willing to remove your signature and golf ball, then post and see if there is any change? Might there be an odd code connected to your sig. area?

I tried that at YLStang's. As you can see, it doesn't work. <script type="text/javascript">function print(m) {}</script>

I'll have a look... see what, if any differences there are between the Quick Reply and Full Editor. I wouldn't expect you to change your browser... I wouldn't, not to accommodate one board's software. EDIT: I've opened a thread at Proboards Support asking about this issue. I'll keep you posted on the results.

From one of the Admins at ProBoards Support: Well... what can I say, Pale Moon is not supported by ProBoards. I hope that doesn't mean you won't continue to visit. If you can put up with the extra lines, so can we.
